“I’ve told ya,” he said,
His cheeks flushed with pink,
“It ought not be done,
Here in the sink.”
“It’s twisted & tangled,
And a Bobby might stick.
Wouldn’t a problem be,
If it weren’t so thick.”
He handed me the bent wire,
“And that there’s the rub,
Of washing it here,
Instead of the tub”
